I kept seeing this on my For You Page between cat videos and cooking fails… It was like, “Okay, another face cream? Again?” But damn, the hype around the West&Month Moisturizing Face Cream was too much to ignore. Everyone was raving about how it could lighten wrinkles and tenderize skin. Was it all just a bunch of girlies trying to sell me something?
My expectations were sky-high. I mean, if it could do all that, it’d be a miracle cream, right? But then I thought, “Sure, I’ll try it. Worst case, it’s just another moisturizer that doesn’t work.” So, I ordered it with a mix of excitement and skepticism.
The box arrived, and the formula looked lightweight and non-greasy, which made me feel lowkey hopeful. I followed the instructions and applied it in the morning and evening. The first week, I didn’t notice a thing. My skin felt pretty much the same. Then, by Week 2, I started to see some changes. My skin was a bit more hydrated, and I could feel a slight difference in texture. But I had to remind myself, “Is this the work of this cream or just the natural course of my skin healing?”
One TikToker with 2M followers literally said, “‘West&Month is a game-changer for my wrinkles and skin texture!’” and got 500K likes. The internet lied about the wrinkles part, but okay, the internet was right about the texture. My skin did feel more supple and less tight, which was a plus.
But here’s a truth: for some people, this might be overhyped. Some might find it’s just another decent face cream. For me, it was worth the hype. Not a miracle, but a noticeable improvement. It’s not the end-all-be-all of skincare, but it’s a good addition to my routine.
Is the hype real? I’d say, partially. It’s not a magic wand, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction for improving skin texture and hydration. If you’re looking to add a bit more softness and radiance to your skin, it’s definitely worth a try. Just don’t expect overnight results.
So, to all the skeptics out there, give it a shot. And who knows, you might just find that main character energy your skin has been missing.
